The Social Enterprise Centre is Australia’s first disability hub, providing greater convenience and accessibility to services for the community.
The Centre currently houses 5 disability organisation offering a wide range of services to the community to support people with a disability. These organisations include:
Care Solutions
Care Solutions provides individually tailored support services for individuals with a disability based upon their needs and requirements. Highly trained staff provide:
- Personal Care
- Community Access/support
- Respite
- Domestic Assistance
- Overnight assistance
- Assistance with activities of daily living
- Weekend Care/ Holidays
- Emergency care (to known clients)
Life Without Barriers
Life Without Barriers provide:
- Alternate family placement (Host family & Foster care)
- Respite
- Emergency placement with high or intensive needs
- Case Management
- Funded placements for people with a disability funded under DADHC or private sponsorship
- Supported accommodation – Residential Services – Group Home
All services are funded through DADHC but we are able to accommodate for children under the minister which we then invoice DoCS for reimbursement.

Burwood Community Welfare Service Inc.
Inner West Counseling Service provides:
- Generalist, short term counseling for a range of issues: depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, transition issues, coping skills.
- Counseling for people with a disability

Lifestart provide:
- Outreach services for families with young children with an intellectual disability, development delay or autism and related disorders.

Cumberland Hospitality Industry Skills Centre
Cumberland Industries Limited, in conjunction with Western Sydney Institute of TAFE also operates a commercial training kitchen for people with a disability. They run a series of vocational education and training hospitality programs in the Centre. Programs include put are not limited to Certificate 1 and Certificate 2 Hospitality.
